WRONG!!!!!!! A PISTOL MUST BE CONSEALD AND HOLSTERED AT ALL TIMES IF YOU CARRY IT. YOU MUST ALSO HAVE YOUR CCW WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES ALSO.

Just to clarify this.. This statment is true if you are a CCW/CPL holder.

Michigan is ALSO an "open carry" state.. you DO NOT need a permit to carry a firearm "In the open" but it must ALWAYS be that.. VISIBLE.. to which you can ensure a discussion with the local law enforcment agency.  However.. a CCW/CPL holder loses this right (to open carry) when they obtain their permit.

This statment is not correct, you DO NOT have to carry concealed if you have a CPL (CCW).  Your Right to Open Carry dosen't go away when you get a CPL.  Many instructors tell their student this, however they are WRONG!!!!!!!!!!
