If you sell stuff on craigslist watch out for a check fraud scam.  Because my brother almost got hit my it.  What happens is this; they say they will buy your stuff and you negotiate out the terms and stuff.  Well they send you a check that way more than the your asking price, and then they ask you to cash it and take what you were asking, and send the rest to another address.  So dont get fooled, because the check looks real and it is real check paper, but the way to tell if its fake is as follows;

Quotebla bla name
bla bla address

your name                                                                      **$$$.$$

the amount ************************

memo                                                                             signed by bla bla

when you see *** in front of the number amount and after the written amount its most likely fake.  so just watch out, because if do cash it you will be responsible the check and might go to jail.
