WOW MY FIRST 2WD IN 5 YEARS!!

Just bought this from my buddy ben. Its a 94 chevy 1/2 ton W/T. its got the 4.3  and either the 700r4/4l60..not sure what they used then? its got 297,874 miles and still starts right up and drives anywhere i want it to. it dose have small things i have to fix. the oil pan has a small leak,the fron brake line leaks,and the tranny pan has a small leak. but what do you expect for this many miles lol. i got the truck for $400!!!.  its was pretty trashed inside when i got it but im getting it back to where it needs to be. this summer im pulling the motor and tranny and putting in a low mile drivetrain then a set of rocker panels and she good to go. the fram and body are solid as a rock.  ill post newer pics later after i get it cleaned up.

Keep the drive train till it blows-my dad had a 92 Silverado extended cab 1500 2wd that had 391,000 on the original engine/transmission. The trans was just starting to let go when he sold it for $500.

Rack the miles see how far it can go!

wow you know me to well lol. all my buddys are taking bets on how long i keep her. I just got the tranny flushed,new filter, and pan gasket, redid the tranny lines,then took it to muffler man to have all new exshaust done. i cleaned the dog piss out of the inside cab. installed new cd player and deck speakers,new seat and floor mats. the rims are all repainted and the rear bumper is done in glass black now also. ill post pics later!

Keep it, run it, you'll love it. My white '91 was basically the same thing. Ran like a champ and got good gas mileage to boot. Nice find.
