ive owned a couple 20 guages, the price range is between a pump and a single.
lotta guys are scared of them because one of the manufactures had a defect that
let the bolt handle sheer off and let the bolt blow out the back when you pull the
trigger.

Had a Mossberg Model 190KA 16 gauge.  It was an ok gun for trekking through the woods birds and small game, but I sold it because I got tired of having to pay $25 for a box of shells when I can get 100 12 or 20 gauge shells for the same price.

They are rare because they werent really all that good.  They are a lot slower than a pump, they were made with cheaper steel, and in fact, Mossberg had to recall about half of the last batch of their bolt action shotguns in the late 60s because the bolt handles would shear off when the gun was fired.

They were mostly designed to be a cheap gun for someone to put food on the table with. Still, I can understand wanting to buy one just to own it.

damn_ford

there actually not rare at all. see them all the time at the gunshows and various gun shops between $100 and $150
