71 stepside chevy

lets start this by saying: this build is going to take a while! i have been gathering parts for almost a year now.

its a 71 shortbox stepside, i have all the parts to fix the cab, i have all the drivetrain, but i am lacking the replacement panels for the box, and i also still need the suspension (which i think i will order during tax time, cuz i want some 12" BIG SHOCKS)

the drivetrain consists of:
built 454'
built 350th
208 t-case
60 front & 14 bolt rear w/ 4.56's
and lastly 44" boggers

all of the drivetrain came out of my old s10

i will have to find another set of tires for the street tho, because i am not gonna ruin the boggers by driving to town and back.



the parts truck with a better cab and a SOLID 8ft box if anybody is interested-- in the box, i need the cab

Nice project!  Where did you buy that truck from?  Did you just get it?  I know where one was sitting that looks damn close to that one, don't know if it is the same one though.

I think it's the same one, sat back off the road aways, just outside of Ottisville.  I checked it out damn near everyday driving by on my way home from work.  Good to see someones doing something with it.  It sat there for quite awhile.  Good luck with the build!

no new updates as of yet, to many other projects ahead of it
