Okay...so back in December I made a mistake on my verification with Marvin. It got caught and corrected followed by them telling me I owed restitution of $650. Ok I understand it was my fault so no biggie right? Well July they told me they were keeping only two of my checks total to cover what was owed. So I understood that. Then today, (8 weeks later), I finally get to actually talk to someone after waiting for thirty five minutes for someone to answer just for the lady to tell me that on Aug 1 they sent me a letter stating I was no longer getting unemployment. I NEVER RECIEVED THAT LETTER  !  I tell the lady this and she's like well maybe we dont have your most current address. I'm like oh yes you do...I've lived here for four years and the last yr of it i've been gettin unemployment. She says well the only thing you can do now is wait for another letter to be mailed and then protest the descion! WTF! Here I am looking high and low for some sort of job and cant find  ! I've even applied to places like McDonald's. I was picking  berries for three weeks just to help make something! We're falling behind on all our bills, we have hardly any    food left, and the bills just keep coming in! I've sold EVERYTHING that i possibly can! WTF am I to do? I understand that i'm not the only one in this position, i feel for every single other unemployed person out there, however i'm just sick of being unemployed and not being able to find for a job!

Well I guess i'll just say this...if any1 knows of a job around vassar/caro/frankenmuth/birch run please let me know...i'll try almost anything just to have a job again!

have you tryed looking on craigslist for jobs there are a ton on there. maybe you will get lucky and find one.  i have been in your spot before and it sucks just keep your head up and never get to down bc for every down side there will be a up side

I am in the same toilet when it comes to finding a job, my unemployment just ran out, been laid off for a year and a half, I too have tried the fast food places and no one seems to be hiring, I have applied to jobs on craigslist and michigan works, nothing, I have recently had some medical issues and have no insurance so my only option was to go to the emergency room and now I am owing over $10,000 to them, the collection agency has already been contacting me about that, I don't know what the hell to do, I am copying all the bills and sending them to Obama though along with a letter asking him to bail my ass out, this really sucks, well I hope things turn around for all of us somehow and soon.

hey can i get obama's address? lol I wanna send him copies of my bills too! hell i'll even keep my own electric bill...it's just frustrating right now mainly becuase both our cells where ringing like crazy from collection agencies, but now our phones had to be shut off cuz we cant afford to pay. we are behind on winter taxes and summer taxes are due in a week or so...crossin my fingers that we dig up a million bucks or win the lottory ASAP!

so eric (damn_ford) and his wife helped me out a ton today! thank you so much! i cant tell you how much i truly appreciate you guys helping me out! Even if it doesnt pan out i still appreciate what you've done for me to try and help me get a job! People like you guys are a rare find, and go to show how this site brings together bands of wonderful people! I really didnt expect my rant to help me find a job...thank you!
