hunters safety?

ive been told since i just turned 18 i dont need to take it?
but others tell me i do
anyone know?

I believe you do. Even if you don't Have to it's still a good thing to do.

you are required to take it, they may just ask you if you did when you go to buy a license. my wife didnt have proof she did and just had to sign sayin she did take it

Unless your 85 you have to take it. And if your not sure if you have to take it or not PLEASE take it!!

Laws changed a long time ago (in the early 90's)
you must take a hunters safety course in order to get a license unless you
can present documented proof of hunting from previous years (grandfather clause)

You have to take it. i went to flushing gun and knife club or something like that 2 days and shooting practice.

I took it when I was 38 years old! with a bunch of kids! one thing I wish the kids would have respected the instructor more...they will be his age someday!

I took it in 1991...12 yrs old.....still have my BLAZE ORANGE hunters safety card in my wallet.

I bought my rifle and small game permits in the last 2 weeks..............was never asked if I took hunters safety...........only for my drivers license

There was a lady that dropped her kids off everyday but didn't sit thru the classes like I did...then she asked the instructor if she could take the test for the fun of it...she passed and didn't go thru the classe like I did...I thought that wasn't right..I was the only adult with those kids
