Top bass anglers at Wooden Shoe tourney

WOODEN SHOE �? The fall Wooden Shoe Bass Team Tournament was held Saturday on Smallwood Lake.

With nine boats competing, first place was won by Dan Bryant, of Clio, and Randy Bentley, of Birch Run. They caught five bass weighing in at 16 lbs., 12.5 ozs.

Jeff Plutt and Jim Yost, of Prudenville, took second place, also with five bass weighing just a half ounce less at 16 lbs., 12 ozs. They also had the biggest bass at 4 lbs., 13.5 ozs.
