My new Hot Rod! 1980 Chevy Malibu

Traded my old beater 2wd 90 F150 for this last night. Its a 1980 Malibu with a 305 and 3 speed manual. Motors pretty fresh and its got a cam and an edlebrock intake, thats all i know.... Its gunna be a project, Bodys REALLY Solid only has a few real small holes im gunna patch. Floor needs a few small spots patched up, paint the outside bed line the inside and runner!!! Maybe build a motor for it... Who knows!

I will, I still gotta pick up a welder and a heater for my garage so i can work on it this winter... Im gunna take it to school during open shop and check out everything underneath this week....

Sweet! I really like them body styles...ever think of getting a 5 speed out of a camaro and putting in it...those 3 speeds arent geared as well as the 5 speeds. If you want to put a rippin sbc..i still have mine

I actually am looking for a 6 speed from a TA or Firebird for it..... Not sure on the motor, dont wanna go to wild, I wanna be able to keep it semi dd able.

remember the one from the mid 90s that was baby blue with a blown bbchev everyone was afraid of? gotta love the cars with a bbc people get scared. he had so much power he did a dragster burnout! so much power he couldnt hook, but everyone ran scared when he fouled a plug they thought he would win but. track officials shut him down at the starting line! dam you gotta build it! AND BUILD IT BAD!
