just please dont put stacks on it, they are getting way to played out. you can get some good power out of the 12v cummins from what ive read on other sites. id go with a 5 speed though, but thats just me.

why? its nice to lose that foot in the front of the box!

i would go with the 5 speed but the 727 is a good trans but u will need to change the axle gears down to like a 3.05. thats what i got in my 94 blazzer non I/C 12 valve cummins motor. its real easy to make power out of the old 12 valve motors too. all u got to do to fit the motor in the engine comp is a 3in body lift, and a cowl hood and it will fit good but u will have to run elec cooling fans in front of the rad...

thanks mike i use to daily drive the truck but now i have a 96 chevy crew cab diesel with twin stacks in the box and it only took up 6in of my box

I seen this blazer around my house in highland and it is bad ass pulled me and my friend out of the ditch when we rolled his exploder

JUST PICKED UP MY NEW FENDERS AND HOOD  FROM PAINT SHOP.  I THINK WERE GOING TO DO THIS 1  JUST LIKE THE OLD  4 DR.

SEND ALL PANELS OUT TO BE PAINTED,  ASSEMBLE  IT THEN GET 1  FRESH COAT ON EVERYTHING.........

PUTT'N  HER IN THE GARAGE  SAT.   PULL OFF THE OLD FRONT CLIP, INSTALL THE  CUMMINS, THEN  PULL OFF THE DOORS  AND SEND THEM OUT TO BE PAINTED.

the old blazzer is burgundy Boggenjoesbrother  and i do remember that day but if u need a hand Big-Al im more than willing bud...
