I am going to be converting my 1993 chevy to a 4x4, i was wondering what you guys would suggest for a trans/transfercase combo and what axles would be good?
the truck currently has a sbc 350, but if i find a good deal on a  454 / trans / tcase combo ill swap that in.
Also, besides trans/transfercase, axles, and driveshafts what will i need?

Thanks,
Savon.

trade it for a 4x4...

your looking to do an straight axle swap on it i assume? get with anthony or solid 12 or BIG-AL (i know more have done it, just the 1st 3 names i thought of) on here. they have done these on thier trucks. you can build or buy the brackets you will need and fab it up.
