as i am learning that dodge magnum heads like to crack in between the valves, a friend of mine bought a running 360
and had the heads magnafluxed, and they are cracked, so i had access to another set of heads, they are cracked as well,
has anyone ran them like this? the crack does not go into the water jacket and is very very small.

my 318 heads cracked... about 400 degrees... no idea why. ==roll

& no ive never heard of this as a common problem, did it effect how it ran or was it just a crack? big enough to loose compression or just like a stress crack

There was something in Hot Rod magazine about the Magnum heads cracking actually and it being fairly common in the 318s specifically.
