was wondering if a 60 rear diff wud go into a 60 front

so i shudnt have any problems putting a limited slip carrier out of a rear in the front then

 NO  a rear carrier is a 30 spline axel & a front is 35 spline, you would have to change the side gears in the carrier & the hole in the side of the carrier is also smaller for the 30s, but thare is some 35 spline rear axel, not a lot. sorry to say.

tim all you have to do is buy the side gears for 35 spline. put them in the case. what posi do you have? i mite have the side gears, i will look.  thay are not that much to buy.

just a stock limited slip carrier from a 75 w300 not sure spline count yet gotta get a shaft out
