exhuast question

i have a 97 chevy 4x4, vortec 350. the stock pipe is about 1 7/8" and im up grading to headers and 2 1/2". can i leave out the cats and should i run 4 o2 sensors. dont really have a plan with the cats yet and need a good one asap. what can i do with the o2 sensors to keep the computer from going goofy or something i dont need. thanks for all input and suggestions

they make complete bolt-on exhaust kits, have you checked those out?

got headers, mufflers and 2 10' 2 1/2" pipe. was gonna use the cats but the holes arnt big enough for flow and cant make them big enough

Gotta run the cats and all 4 O2 sensors.. will never EVER run right, unless you put 4 simulators on it. then it still wont run right..


Summit sells aftermarket cats.. your going to need 2     one left bank one right   O2 sensor before and after both...   Only way you can get it to run right....

Yup, or else y our SES light will stay on, and it'll misfire like a mo-fo! Not to mention probably dump fuel right out the tail pipe.... seen that before!    summit sells hi flow cats and stock replacements...

get the summit high flow, their stock replacement ones will leave you a lil on the disappointed side... but ya kinda stuck with having to buy new ones man
