I JUST PUT A NEW TRANNY IN MY TRUCK, EVERYTHING IS READY TO GO. I BROKE THE NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH WHEN I PUT PLUGIN THE WIFE IN. SO I REPLACED IT. I INSTALLED IT THE WAY THE PAPER WORK SAID. I STILL CANT START MY TRUCK, WHAT THE HECK IS GOIN ON? DID I SET THIS UP WRONG? OR CAN I BY PASS THIS?

i had the same problem when i replaced my 4l60e. i had a hard time gettin the plug to seat properly. i would say double check the plug make sure u didnt bend any prongs. i just messed with it for a while and it started working. i was able to jump the starter with a screwdriver untill i got everything working.

theres a little thing on the end of the plug thats glued on... warm it up (lighter or something not super hot) and it'll come right off... plugs in just fine then!

also might have to adjust it!   where the shifter rod goes through it that lil thing spins around... might be off ???
