Hey.

I have a 305 sbc that is set up for tbi. How much pressure is required is needed? I need to run an inline fuel pump ( thumper). What I believe that I have is an older block that someone managed to rig with an early 90s tbi and intake. Thanks  for reading.

Has this motor ever been runnin since the parts were swapped over to TBI? They run on about 9-13lbs or so if Im not mistaken.. Whats it in? ;D

I agree with old school on the pressure. Good luck with a cheap thumper pump. Some of those pumps can barely pump fuel to the end of a hose lol. Save your money and buy a inline rotary vane style pump. Pretty sure airtex makes them for around $40-50 w/ fittings and install bracket.

thanks I'll have to check that out. Its in a 87 chevy. i have a 12-15lb pressure thumper right now, and the truck will start and idle. even run around the yard, but it acts like it runs out of fuel and dies. then you can fire it back up until it happens again.

Could it be the filter?
