I know that there is a certain width that u are sapposed to be less than, as far as i know... as long as it is like 13' or less u should b fine. But i could be wrong. U can always call dot ( department of transportation ) and find out for sure.

i believe 13'6"   but dont quote me on that!  max of 102" wide

Mine is right around 13', depending on how much mud is on and in it! lol Thats on the small tires. Gotta swap for height and width troubles. 13' 6" is the legal max, but they are right that there are alot of overpasses that are lower in small cities and such. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS TREES THOUGH!!!!! There are a lotta a low big branches. I load mine backwards and let the roll bar nock the big stuff outa the way. I would say that if you go much higher than 13' youll be sorry. Most of the bogs are off the kinda roads that have a lot of low trees. Ive smacked a couple low lights too. The yellow stuff in the bed proves it lol. Oh and 102 isn't on all roads, some are 96 max. dont know how strict they are on the 96 though
Where's the BIG hole?

MUD KING

Real variable is the trailer ya got. Mine is a true deckover which rides about 34" tall. If ya got a low trailer with fender cutouts then ya got alot more room to work with

Welp I'm Gonna Be Eliminating My Trailer Soon.....Gonna Be Able To Load The Truck On The Back Of The Tow Rig...
Truck On Rollers-9'
Deck Height-6"
Trucks Frame Height-3'
So I Should Be Sitting At 12' 6"
On The 16.9's.....13'.05"
Should Be Safe....Might Have To Take The Top Off If I'm Running The 16.9's So My Can Take The Blow Like Grant's...Just In Case Lol
