marker light laws in mi

ive done some searching but not finding exactly what im looking for.  what are the laws for running marker lights as far as the colors you can run?  i know facing forward you have to run amber but can you run red lights on the side and rear? thanks for the help

i think its amber lights on the side, only red lights can face the rear.

At the very rear on the sides you can have red to signal the end of the trailer

mine came from the factory with amber front side marker and red on the rear side marker

thanks guys thats what i thought it was but someone gave me a box of truck-lite markers and there mostly red so i wanted to make sure

I think its actually Federal Safety regulations, not state on this one cuz its the same everywhere ya go
