Lansing Police Shoot, Kill Woman at Bank,,,,,!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!

A woman is dead after being shot inside a Bank of America branch on Lansing's south side.

Lansing police responded to an alarm at the bank on Martin Luther King Blvd. at about 3 a.m. Monday, according to Michigan State Police, who are handling the investigation.

Michigan State Police tell News 10 a woman was inside the bank and that she was shot by Lansing police. She died on the scene.

The woman's name has not been released.

Police have been at the bank since early Monday morning.

I guess theres been alot of breakin's in the area and she did break in setting the alarms off, and when the cop show'd up she lunged at him with a knife so he shot her ......WTF was she thinking talk about bring'n a knife to a gun fight. she couldnt have been all there

Yeap stuff like that happens all the time... And being an alarm company we have to disbatch the pd on all alarms.. Unless someone calls and tells us it was a mistake and has all the right info

I'm sorry but if someone lunged at me with a knife I would have no problem with shooting them, in fact I would probably empty a whole clip in them just to make sure their dead body did not try to stab me again
