price on 96 new gen 4.3

i need your opinions on my motor i bought a 96 new gen 4.3 for my daughters 95 s10 blazer and i found out that 95 was a stand alone year SO HERE IS THE ? I PUT THE 96 UP FOR SALE ON CRAIGS LIST  I PUT A TON OF NEW PARTS ON IT.. OIL PUMP, TIMING CHAIN, AND GEARS, ALL NEW GASKETS, TUNEUP,OIL PAN  AND I NEVER INSTALLED MOTOR WITH THE NEW PARTS DO U THINK 750.00 OBO IS TO MUCH MONEY I ALSO HAVE COMPUTER AND WIRING HARNESS WHAT DO U THINK

Yes and no, somebody is gonna ask how much with out parts n blah blah blah...its craigslist I think 500 firm is a good price but that's imo

I PRICED A 95 FROM A JUNK YARD WITH 125,000 AND THEY WANTED 500.00 SO I DONT KNOW WHAT TO THINK

Yea, but maybe they know that they can get more bc its a stand alone engine? Bc 500 for a 4.3 is steep imo but idk I havnt tried to buy one I know u can get a vortec 350 for 4-500 with low miles sometimes with trannys too!

Chevy Racer

Ummm I think you can use the block from the 96 and the heads and intake from the 95.  PM 73Chevytruck  He did something like that without issue.

yeah u have to change heads and intake i am planning on putting whole 96 motor in and changing wire harness and computer and trying to put into her 95 and see if it will go

yea i put a 96 motor in a  95, jsut changed the heads and intake so all the wiring was right for my blazer. then modified the torque conver cover/dust shield to work with the 96 motor.
i dont have a mud bogging problem, i got it under control

ive been pricing a 96 vortec and ive seen then for around 450.00 and at rpm they told me they could get me one with around 100.00 for 500.00 this is all recent also
