my uncle turned me on to this last week so me and my girlfriend tryed it out last weekend .was super easy made it in the oven n turned out great .......we cut up the venison into strips,put on the cure/seasoning dry rub, put it in a bagie over night in the fridge, took it out , put foil on the bottom rack n put in back in the oven real low to catch the drippings, then took the venison put tooth picks threw the ends of the strips and hung it from the top rack (they tell you just to lay it accrossed the rack but my uncle told me to hang it so i did) turned the oven on 200 left the door open a crack it tells you 1 1/2  to 2 hours and to just keep checking it. we did ours for 4 hours worked out real well ....I got more gonna do a big batch this time ...........thought id share its easy and fun and the kids loved it  ++peace got mine onsale at dunhams sporting goods

it is still warm from the cooker, he makes it there... very good stuff

They also have good Cherry Maple turkey Jerky...haven't been there in a couple of years ;D You and the Little Mama should check it out some time ;) ;D..They have alot of taxidermy to look at too!
