my broke ass ford!!

tacon motors are awsome if you have the money here is a cheap setup you can program the esc just like the mamba max it comes with a programer and this set up works sweet http://www.ehobbies.com/dyn3736c.html?utm_source=dyn3736c&utm_medium=shopping%2Bengine&utm_campaign=froogle

Lol as long as your not trying to compete with it :-P cheap way to go brushless though.  Tekin or LRP

I have Two things to say about this.
1. HobbyWing systems are what they are. Sometime you get one that last for a long long time and sometime you get junk. They have NO Q.C. at all. I have seen a bunch of these things come threw my works front door.

2. Don't put any brushless system in that Evader unless you put the newer trans gears from the New Evader EXT.  All you are going to do is blow the diff up and strip the idler gear.  Trust me I have done it and sold the car off due to it.

On a side note I would stay away from Exceed RC. I don't know of a single Hobby shop that sells them or the parts for them. They do almost 98% of their business online. I have been told that their custom service is Hit or Miss as well.

IMHO. I would go with a Castle Creations Sidewinder 3 set up with either the 4600kv or 5700kv motor. It's a Waterproof ESC and Brushless Motor. It can handle up to a 3S LiPo. Can plug it into your computer with the Castle Link and Adjust EVERYTHING under the sun with it.  I run the Sidewinder 2 and 3 set ups in all my R/Cs now.
best part is its between $100 and $135 bucks the set up,  I know you can pick up a used one for $50 to $75.
