putin first  lift this week on my truck ..its got a 3 body lift already.. the question is
when i got the  4 in kit it was still on the axels..after tearing lift off those axel seen the blocks for the rear had angle on them for correctin axel degree. then took off front and found no shims, nothing
so anyone put a 4 in lift on a k5? thought there to be one, but not sure

and if there is supposed to be one what would be the shims size?

thanks

the cheap lifts come with cast aluminum shims that can break and disappear, i would shim it.

the front is not shimed. look at your t case out put shafts.  because of the the tcase, out put shaft on the front is down farther then out pit shaft of the rear. you need some angle in the rear.

The k5's are a lot shorter than any other truck and all the length is cut out of the rear not the front. I have a 6 inch lift in my k5  blazer and had to cut the perches off the rear and angle my axle up for correct driveshaft angle. The front I have had any problems with and I have no shims or anything

dose my degree variation have to be exact or do i have a touch of room?

no more than 4 degrees from pinion angle to output shaft angle on tcase.
