I was wondering if anybody has figured out how to keep water out of the diff on 2.5 ton rockwells.  I have installed extra seals in the inside rear of my hubs(which are flipped out on the rear).  I packed the entire hubs with grease and fitted them with grease zerks.  Pinion seals dont leak.  Breather tubes dont get water to them.  But yet everytime I go wheeling I drain the fluid and still get water and last time it bearly flowed out the drain hole because it was so thick.  Hoping somebody might have had some luck.

Packed them full, so I can squirt grease in and push the water out of the hub and berrings.  Seems to be working good.  I realize I am going to get some water but it sems a little excessive.

That is very possible.  It sat for over 4 months.  Everything is siliconed up, tore all the covers up and resealed it before I run it the first time. Guess I'll have to buy 80-90 by the 55gal drum.
