fuel pressure for carbs

im lookin into buyin a holley 770cfm offroad avenger carb for my 408 and i need to buy a fuel pressure regulator because im using the in tank fuel pump thats in my 92 chevy. but what kind of pressure does a carb like that or most carbs run for fuel pressure? so i know what range of regulator to buy, or do i not need one at all?

6-9 psi is what most holleys like I run a holley reg. with a holley pump.. and a holley carb.. must be I like holley lol

6-9 is what holley reccomends. i wouldnt put more than 10 start floating it.

alright thanks guys! appreciate it!  ++peace i just didnt wanna buy a carb and regulator and not have it for the right range or buy a wide range one and spend a bunch of extra money on somethin that aint needed

i recomend 6 personally. thats what i run on my car and truck. a stock mechanical pump usually has about 3 or 4psi.

alright that helps. otherwise i was just gonna make a guess for what to set it at lol

i always run mine at 7 and never have a problem

ivealways been told 5-7...i had ten in my holley and if messed it all up
