trans ?

ok i have a 700r4 with a 208 in the tracker behind a 2.8 so that trans wont work with a 4.3. I have the 4.3 with the 4l60e and i want to know if the 208 and adapter will bolt up the the 4l60e or if i should just get a 700r4 for the 4.3. thanks

yup, it'll work as long as its not a 2pc 4l60e after about 2000 they went to a 2pc case with removable bellhousing and trans adapter was 5 bolts

bellhousing will have 10 big torx bit bolts inside it... if you get the right adapter for it, the 208 should still go on... same NP 6bolt pattern i believe

So what is the diff in the 4l60e with the two pc. And where can I het the adaptor?

The adaptor I have on my 700r4 behind the 2.8 for the 208 will work on a 350 or do I have to get a diff adaptor for the 350

you will need the 2 " alum spacer for a 350th

K is the 350 trans the same length as the 700r4. So I don't have to modify my trans cross member or anything like that. I want to het what I need to do the swap so I can do it in a weekend not a few weeks.
