you wana push button to activate a relay to activate your starter? am i following you correctly? if i am, that's not to bad of a system to wire in, it'd be just like wireing in off road lights, but instead of a switch you'd use the push button, and instead of the lights it'd be the starter, just bypassing the stock wireing?? the inguagement for teh starter doesn't really pull that hard of a current, just enough to close the contacts for teh primary circut straight off the batt.... let me know if i'm way off on what your wanting to do man, i've wired a few starting systems for a few different kinda rides, i'd be glad to help ya

I usually wire starter myself easily without the relay. But now with the relay there either 4 or 5 point where each point wires go to is my question

There should be #'s printed by each terminal  87,86,85,30 if you have a 5 post relay the center isn't used. 87=starter solenoid, 86 =Ign. switch,85=ground and 30=battery +

and i learned the hard way make sure your fuse both the line from teh push button and the power line comming off your battery, otherwise if the relay should short out your gonna have probs real fast

and like he said.... from the relay there is 2 power outs the 87's the switch comming in 86 which activates teh relay the ground is 85, and the 30 is your fused power off the battery, generally i use a 25 amp fuse since teh relay is rated for 30 amps...fuses are cheeper than relays... if your anywhere near midland you can stop by and take a look at how i got the 3 relays wired for my off road lights..
