  I ordered parts from Jegs to build my motor
I finley got it started and WOW very bad valve train noise
I pulled the motor out and tore the cam and lifters out
found that the lifters are defective (acts like solid lifters on a hyd cam)
this damaged my cam shaft and cam bearing  not even 20min run time
I really hope JEGS will take care of me on this

lanes -motor state dist-all star products all same MICH company all you have to do is say jegs sells it for this$ they have 3-4 trucks in eastern mi 5 days @ week NEVER had problem with this company in 30 years

shoulda went to summit, im always hearin about defective parts from jegs that causes even more damage, thats why i dont order from jegs, plus summit has never done me wrong yet

really sucks that happend though, hope they cover it

yeh this was my first time through jegs, Ive always been summit with noproblems

ive heard nothin but bad things about jegs  but ive never ordered from them  summit has always done me right on parts and exchanges  but if i can get it locally for only a few bucks more id rather give my money to a locall then outtastate  store  good luck joe hope they make it right for ya

i agree, i think they have to take care of you on this one, and if they wana give you problems about it then just tell them you'll go to some kinda news thing or something and let millions of "potential buyers" know how they "take care" of customers....

i sure wish i could say that i have had good luck with summit, i have gave them several chances and no luck with them. never had a problem with competition products or jegs. but i think that its more luck, you can have problems with anyone of them  at anytime. i feel your pain and sorry to hear that, good luck, i had issues with my msd dist. and told them i would never buy there products agian and then they were all about helping me.

Competiton products are the best mail order engine parts around. Call and talk to them and you will know.
