GM 14 Bolt brake backing plate??

i have to do some disc brakes on my gm 14 bolt and i have everything off except for the drum backing plate i took the 4 bolts i thought were holding it in and figured prolly have to beat it off i tapped it some with no movement so i figured id ask to see how its actually done

no they should come off... with the 4 bolts off

well idk it looks like spindle is welded onto the plate idk do i need a BFH???

if your talking about your xploder ther welded every thing on rear axle came off front axle backing plates were cut to fit &welded you can get weld on caliper brackets from allstar for about $20 a side

any1??? to me it looks like factory weld i have everything off that needs to be shafts drum and the 4 bolt that go through backing plate into axle flange is this drum suppose to slide off with the spindle?

he got it off he needed a bigger hammer he just wasnt hitting it hard enough lol
