I don't even run a Antivirus anymore, even AVG is bloatware now and any free antivirus always has a bunch of popup ads wanting you to buy their premium crap. I have malwarebytes and combofix, if I get infected I run combofix first followed by malwarebytes...if those two wont fix your infection nothing will, then I will just use Norton ghost and go back in time, it is a wonderful program!

It is kinda like system restore and will restore your computer back to an earlier date. Microsoft system restore will not remove a virus however...norton ghost takes a snap shot of your hard drive and restores it right back to the way it was and deletes anything that was on the hard drive after the snap shot including any viruses or other malware.
