I had one last yea, 96 reg cab with 35" boggers. As long s there's a decent bottom to the pit it did great, also made a killer pull out truck. They have the ultimate potential as far as diesels, just heavy. I say go for it! I'm in the process of building a 24v cummins bogger/toy.

i like the idea i just had a hard time with wanting a 24v bogger i dont like the idea of water and the electronics in a 24v, not that it would matter anyways because diesel and water are about as much of friends as electricity and water

check out south bend clutchs car only 4 cyl but on good day will spank 1000 hp cars

For a mud motor I would certianly go with a 12v, they are leaps and bounds ahead of the 24v. They rev higher, make bigger power cheaper and are 100% more simple than their electronic counterpart. For under a grand you could easily have a 5k rpm decent power 12v. I think you should do it!

its not the idea of how complicated electrical is, electrical is actualy simple i think i went to school for diesel mechanics but i dont like the idea of it with the water
