front end in a comp truck

what would be the best front end to use. lightweight but can handle 400-750 hp

depends on what weight the truck is we had 44 with moly shafts and open front never broke them with 600hp small block some of the baddest drag boggers run 44 s or 10 bolts with good parts

BEST AXLES ARE DANA 60 FRONT AND 14 BOLT FF REAR!!!!!! OR IF YOU GOT THE MONEY HAVE A SET OF 9 INCHS MADE

toyota axles suck dont use them the ring gear is very weak 450 hp will break it use a 9" ford!

Look at erikmud's bronco2. He is pushing well over 550 hp to his toyota front. The axle he has been running has seen alot of abuse over the couple years. As long as you get the weight off of the axle you could probably make a dana 30 work.

I had toy axles in a fiberglass cj5 and hated them not sure how eriks front hold up so well

If you have all kinds of cash get a currie 9 inch front. Light and strong as hell.
