Yeah its in. found the worst 60 on earth to buy but its fixed and hopefully ready to rock! Every baring, seal, ring, pinion and carrier were all trashed and full of mud. The spring perch was crushed and the lockouts were junk. Thanks to flat black a rear 60 gears and carrier is now in with all new seals, u-joints and rejuvinated barings. Lol. Couple other odds and ends and it is ready to get muddy agian.

So whats the motor upgrade since the Millington comp bog kinda hurt it?

Blackout

Only thing hurt is my pride. Lol. Knock seems to be the air filter tube hitting the firewall. It went away. Video sure looks like it smoked bad from the pass side but it doesnt now. My theory is I boiled the trans fluid and it puked on the header. Trying to get to the flag was hard on it.

#27
Carnage of the 10 bolt. This was all from one pass. Broke the splines off the long inner also. Fyi they were both brand new percision axle joints.

Updates. The millington bog in fact did hurt the engine well finished it off anyway. I through together a flat top 355 for it with same heads and a touch more cam. First bog worked some bugs out than proceeds to beat it bad. 20 plus bombs through the cat tails for 6 hours straight. Bent all of the body mounts. Bent a header. Sheared a spring center pin. Broke steering shaft and shoved box mounts through the bed floor. So the cab got remounted. The box was gutted and just skins put back on and got rid of the core support. Figure we droped close to 350 pounds total.

Nice looking set up !! Do you have any pics of the side of the truck ? Would like to see the ladder bars ? Thanks

Blackout

I don't have any but I can describe them. I went very extreme on antisquat for this one just kinda of an expirement. They mount about 3.75 in under the axle centerline and at the frame are mounted at the front spring bolt. If memory serves they are about 27 in long and pushing 40-45 degrees. It launches hard with little wheel spin on sod. Truck lifts id say about 6 in on launch in the back. Wouldn't recomend this setup with your t brake and big power I think you'd hit the tires too hard and bounce them off the ground. Ill get some better measurements later.
