tracker upgrades 2011/2012

Well as most of you know I blew the motor up in the tracker opening day at the mounds. I pulled it apart and left it alone till this past weekend. I got a 93 4.3 and then I have been getting other things for it. I got the motor and trans in last weekend now i have to get an intake, radiator and other little things to get it finished up. I just ordered my upright headers. so now i dont have to worry about sucking water in the exhaust lol. going to order the radiator and intake for it friday or saturday once i get the rest of the money for selling the sidekick. I'll have the headers by friday so they will go on this weekend and i'll cut the holes in the hood for them. so next weekend i will put the radiator and intake on and maybe i can fire it up and hear it run for a second or two lol.

I found the intake I need just have to drive a ways to get it in the morning. I'll have the headers Friday and I'll order my radiator and a few other things Friday. Can't wait to get this running again

picked up the intake this morning then the headers showed up. put them on and it looks sweet. have to modify the flange on the pass side its hitting something on the head. also have to mod the back tube on the driver side its 1/16 from the steering shaft. want a bit more there. also fyi carb intake wont fit on a balance shaft 4.3 the damn tin splash shield hits the bottom of the intake so i have to fix that. other than that a few more things and it should be running lol.

and i have to move the siren speaker its a bit close to the header and dont want to melt it lol

ordered the radiator and water pump from summit. ill have them next week. got the intake bolted down and just have to do the exhaust now. then odds and ends. plan to get as much as i can this weekend.

cool getting all the parts needed for the tracker must be excited
suppose to get radiator and modified oil pan since stock cast alum. wouldn't fit sometime next week too
kinda bummed,might not be ready for next saturday's 8/13 wayne county mud bog,last year took 3rd place out of 22 trucks in street stock class
hoping to do better this year if i get all the parts in time if not i'll be mound bound when ready

looks like i will have the parts from summit tomorrow. thats bad ass. might be able to get it done tomorrow and take it to the mounds sunday if i'm lucky.
