does any body know about the speedo .it quit working and trans is messing up now wont shift stuck in 3rd gear and dont down shift

unplug the electrical plug on the side of the tranny see if its corroded and plug it back in... if that dont fix it its probably burned up lol

Can you manually shift into other gears? If so your problem is Speed Sensor (VSS) dropoff, the fix is Reprogram PCM for Speed Sensor (VSS) dropoff. Did you spin the tires at take off in the mud or other slippery conditions?
