from gas to diesel

thinking about putting a 7.3 in my 96 f350 because the 351 dont really have enogh power and ant good on gas when pulling a trailer. what would i have to do to put the 7.3 in, and would my 5 speed  trans hook up too or have to get a different one any help would be great

Id imagine a whole wiring harness, fuel system, i dont know if bellhousings are the same or not... your almost better off finding a totaled truck and swap your good parts over... prolly a bunch of stuff youll need with this swap... or find a diesel truck with a blown up motor

Throw your motor in that, or swap it all over
