1998 5.7 no start

5.7 Just cranks. Wont even act like it wants to start. Yes it has gas, yes the fuel pump is good... what else could it be? Never messed with this type of 350..... i do know they are known for a long list of sensor failures..

Test for spark at plugs.  If none, check at coil...     if none there break out the test light and your wiring schematic... should be a signal wire going to the coil from the PCM     if nothing there break out check voltage output from cam sensor inside the distributor   same with crank sensor.

My 95 just did this it was the ignition modual. About 40 bucks

take the cap of and have some one crank it see if rotor spins

Only need 3a things to run... fuel, air, spark at and you know for sure you got fuel and air...   gimme a call while your workin on it dave!

tried new cap and rotor nothing.. , 60 psi, spark... gas.. still nothing gues ill pay good money for a shop to fawk with it

no service engine codes? kinda sounds like a cam or crank sensor.. i dont think it will spark without the crank sensor but with a bad cam sensor it just throws the timing off alot.

Did you check your fuses. I know my 91 chevy has a fuse for the injectors. Idk if yours does or not.

Gettin roll backed to the dealer in the am...... tired of screwin with it... itll be worth the money not having to anything but turn a key.... i will check the fuses though

Dude sometimes thats just the best way to go about it. Just let um deal with the head ach while you chil at home.

i know its a little late but mine did the same thing last spring i changed the cap and rotor it fired right up they hav a bad cap design that lets moisture in an messes it up.

Well i had it roll backed to a shop monday... they got to it later that day... hoooked their computer up to it hit the key and it fired right up... WTF... they said everything checks out fine except the number 6 cylinder is mis firing... so 75 bucks for them to turn my key!
