So I got a newer computer with xp on it and I went to put win 7 on it. Well it worked for a bit tuen after I installed updates and it rebooted it won't load up. It gets to where it should show starting windows and reboots or stops. Can't figure it out for nothing. So I went to put xp back on it and it won't even show the drive. So I think I need to install raid driver when xp install starts up. Only problem I need a floppy drive to do that and I have three of them and none of them want to work. It says I need to format disk. So I do and it fails. So idk what to do. Guess I take it too computer country and let them figure it out and put xp back on it for me.

so what was wrong?

and how did you screw your computer up Derek? If I remember all you had to do was put a video card in it...

Crazymays77

It wouldnt show a hard drive when I tried to install xp or win 7. I had to mess with the bios settings.

Different computer, I tried switching OS on my laptop now im stuck with a POS "Joli OS" trying to change it to a android operating system right now but if all else fails ill just put windows back on. Its working fine but Joli OS locks everything up if you type to fast or try to run 2 windows at the same time >.<

dsJeep

are you trying Android OS or Chromium OS?

Android x86 2.1 it loads up fine but it doesn't recognize my cpu or monitor so it freezes. Tried putting xp back on the laptop but I forgot it has sata hard drives lol.

dsJeep

I didn't think Android would work well with a normal laptop/PC, Chromium OS looks like it works well, very fast...
