i wanna do a rear axle flip  heard it gives 5inches of lift in the rear.  how hard is it to do and if i crank up my torsion bars will the truck sit level?

randycrane79

not hard to do at all just flip axel up and change ubolts and no the front torsion bars wont raise ya that high ya have to buy a set of after market clock arms to do that

monsteram

clock arms? never heard of em before   is there a way i can put a block between the leaf spring and the bottom plate or would that not work?

randycrane79

clock arms are the torsion arms they wont go high enough and the rear axel you have to set the spring on top of the axel if you leave the spring under the axel and put a block in it it will lower your truck

best to do a sas on it....but if u stay ifs, u need to buy a good name lift kit.   Id say if u wanna go cheep do a 3inch body lift and you can run 33s.  Anything bigger and you will need to buy stock in cv shaft company.
