6al problems

msd 6al. everything is hooked up right, not getting power out of the box thru the orange wire to the (+) side of the coil. power to everything else. no spark also, they said to check the coil first, but i have no power to the coil. and help would be great!

make sure you have power going in, and check your ground !  ==dunno
  check the  chip.

could be the chip! trents went bad once

Dont forget if you have height you must take out filter onset the cap

pull a plug wire off and short it out, unhook your dist.plug and jump it across and if the box is good it will throw a spark if it dont try another coil that way you know if its the coil or the box.

i had that same problem and found it was a bad ground wire same problem

well... i forgot to add i hooked up the ground of the box to the (+) side of the battery. in my defense, it was wired with red wire, not black, so i expected it to be correct.

talked to msd, no fuse inside, get to buy a new box!

it comes out of the box black, then turns into a red wire that went to ground. well i grabbed all the red wires and hooked them up to the (+) side. no biggie.
