what is the best way to get the front end up in the air

i mean not pulling wheelies. i meant to transfer the weight to the back

The best way would probly be with coil over shocks. They also make progressive leaf springs versus a linear rate

lots of work! lol  4 link or soft leafs will help and gutting as much as possible will help with the weight..

Get the motor back away from front axle as far as possible fallow a proven 4 link formula, get the right suspension setup good hooking rear tires, and big horsepower always helps
