drum to disc swap question

i have a dana 60 front axle with drum brakes on it and would like to change them to disc. i would also like to keep it fairly inexpensive because with a kid on the way in january i get put in the dog house if i spend too much on my toys. so i am curious if anybody has tackled this job and how much they invested? any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance
