sbc center dump manifolds

when i put my new motor in my truck my stock maifolds wouldnt work with a drivers side dip stick. so my dad gave me the center dump manifolds off his 283 for the jeep he has. he says next summer when he puts it in the jeep hes just gunna take his manifolds back, which i understand cause there his and imma be at boot camp  so not like my truck needs them cause its not gunna be ran unless i run it. so how much does a set usually cost? and i dont know if this matters but the 283 is a 60's block. thanks.

  if it's a 350 sbc go get some used 350 manifolds from a bone yard ,  ,center dumps are hard to fine

theres lots of different ram horn manifolds some are big money but if theyre just of a truck or passenger car they usually go for about 50 a set   i tossed 5 of them into the cast basket the other day cleanin up at the farm  lol

yea i have the 350 manifolds but i wanna keep these center dumps cause i already have my exhaust set up for them. well i guess ill have to get out the big money then lol....BigFrank i wish i woulda posted this earlier then so i coulda bought a set from ya!! lol

yup bone yard engine pile would be your best bet, 20 bux usually

good luck the rams horn style were teh best flowing of the stock manifolds, but you should be able to get headers that'll be a direct bolt in for those manifolds

check out jegs dont know if thses links will work but they have a bunch on diff ones starting out at $59-$300 and there new with hardware heres a few of the cheeper ones buy your dad a new set n keep his lol....good luck and thanks for your service

2 or 2 1/2 inch.  if your using 2 inch exhaust i can get you brand new ram horn manifolds for $100.00 each. they have the Air holes but they can be pluged. let me know if your interested

yea i talked to a family friend who pretty much owns his own junk yard with out knowing it lol and he had 3 sets that he got back from the junk yard when he was working there. i found the ones i needed and i asked how much he wanted for them and he just said take'em! gotta love family friends that are willing to help you out just so they can watch you make an ass or yourself in the swamp lol
