stupid tire question but here goes

picked up a small trailer w bad tires    the reading on tires state 6.50- 13        does that mean rim size 13    but i measure the rim from outside it s 14

i think so, because the outer lip of the rim has to be bigger than the hole in the tire in order to keep it on.. ask derek, he should know

thats what i was thinking too ... guess its  off to looking for 2 13" tires
