39 chevy truck not a rat rod

              this is my dads 39 truck  took it to a guy to put  a mustang 2 steering /rack and pinion and disc brakes on it   then its coming here to my shop so i can go thru the engine thats a 55 chevy 6 cylinder  and change the 3 speed manual to a 700r4  also change the rear axle to a 6 lug one we have  also gonna put on a dual 2 barrel intake and old school header   rewire everything to be safe   this was my uncles truck he  s had since the 1950s  we had it running about 4 years ago and its sat since then  i really want to get this done for my dad  since hes the one that has gotten me into vehicles  since i was a little kid tearing apart engines   just to keep me busy lol and has tought me alot about old vehicles  and whenever i need a part for my truck  not to mention  he gave me the whole truck i started with building my mud truck  soo its time to give back to him and get this old beast going

Hell yea, me n my dad are tryn to find an old kw or pb cabover to turn into a show truck, gonna be streched put a c14 cummins w a 13sp and the windshield will be about 10-12in tall chop top, been lookin for a while but no luck, dads a diesel mechanic and has his own shop, I finally figured I mise well get my ass to collage n hopefully one day ill be able to take it over
