I had to laugh at this..................cause theres no way in hell a newer car (bodywise) would out perform an older 40/50 year old car in a crash test (bodywise).

Older cars had more METAL in them, (and it wasnt recycled shitt either).........unlike so many plastics they put in them today.

(((It doesn't matter, the crumple zone and the airbags will save many lives.I was surprised that the weight difference was only a few hundred pounds.I had those old cars,I'd take the newer ones over them anyday. The newer cars will last longer too.You don't see rust on new cars, the old ones always had it.Old cars were only made to last 50,000 miles, new, about 200,000.))))

Of course you wont see RUST on a new car......WTF...its NEW.............Hell I've seen trucks that were 6/7 years old that had rust/bubbled up spots on them.

As far as mileage is concerned........it doesnt mean shitt to me I've driven older stuff with over 200,000 miles on it...hell my truck has 223,000 and still runs great!
