dana 60 gears question please help!

i have a dana 60 closed knuckle front axle and i am wanting to swap in a kingpin style dana 60. the closed knuckle has 5:13 gears (supposedly still verifying) which i would like to transfer to the new axle. will the ring and pinion out of the closed knuckle with a new install kit fit in the new axle? would it fit GM/DODGE or just ford? thanx for your time in advance.

yes it will. you might have to swap the side gears on the carrier

if its  ford and a  high pinnion,  it will be a  reverse  gear.

dana 60  is a dana 60.   just  make sure  it don't turn backwords.

if its for a GM /or Dodge its a standard cut.
