96 f350 manual trans ?

ok my day went to today when i got in my truck and go to push the clutch pedal in to start it there was no pressure when i push the pedal down, the pedal doesnt even come back to the top where it suppose to be im thinking it the clutch sleave is bad but im not sure so i thought i would ask some gotmudders for some help

Ours was the clutch master cylinder assembly--Even if the slave was blown, the pedal would still come back, like pumping the brakes with a blown wheel cylinder or line. So it narrows it down to the master cylinder for the most part.

when my 89 f250 did that, it was the  cylender on my bellhousing. 52 dollars  it was back like new. and dont for get some fluid.

well look at it today at work looks like daves right i unhook the line from the trans and puch the pedal down and fluid came out soo im pretty sure it the sleeve cylender gunna tear the trans out tomorrow

I tried 2 different slaves in my '93 F350 because I couldn't believe that a year old clutch would be bad already. I was wrong, the clutch ended up being the culprit.

You may get lucky and it just be the slave, but I wouldnt get your hopes up.

Same scenario with us and the slave cylinder. New clutch kit, slave cylinder, still no clutch. Ended up being the master cylinder, but the pressure plate was full of mouse nest from when it sat before we bought it so it was still wise to replace it all. This was at 135k on the Ranger.
