Well I picked up an old West Coast Choppers bike from my neighbors about a month ago.  Seen it sitting outside since they moved in and said what the heck I will ask if I can have it and the gave it to me. It's kind of cool looking bike but I am going to make it my own and  do some fun with it.
I just can not go any amount of time with a project going on here and with my Jeep over a TopFists and me waiting one money to gather up for the other truck sitting here I need to keep busy.

Its going to be all flat black and I am going have good friend do pin stripping on it for me.
I am going to run a 24 inch tire up front and 20 in the rear.  May run a 5 speed rim with a suicide shiftier but I may keep it a single speed.
Going to rack out the front end and make it longer.  Adding 25 inch tall ape hanger handle bars and I am going to run a Banana seat on it as well with if i have time a custom made sissy bar on the back. I am going to order one just in case I dont have time to make one.  I want to flip the "gas tank" around and cut a hole in it for a cub holder witch would be sweet IMO.

Hope to have it done for AutoRama at Cobo.  Would be cool to get it there and may be win something.

Dont have any pic of it before I tore it down but here is what it looked like brand new.

This is were I am with it as of right now. I threw a 26 inch rim and tire up front and the old front 20 inch rim in the back to get and idea of what it will look like.

I would run a 24 in the rear but then I can not run a brake if I go with a 5 speed set up.  That is my big draw back to a 24 inch. Plus trying to hunt down a coaster break style 24 inch is hard as hell.  Only been able to find one and its a Chrome Steel rim and I am wanting Black Alloy rims for it.

But I got more done to it this afternoon.  Welded up a bunch of holes that were in it and cut off the Chain guard tabs and ground them down.
so now it looks like this \/

Going to swing by the High School and ask my old Teacher if I can get it sand blasted there.  Then its off to my Uncle to rake out the front end and extend the forks.   Can not wait.

I am kind of SOL on it right now.  Cant order my Parts b/c there is no one at the shop to pick up my order and it end up sitting on the Step for the next two months.

Well I finely got some of the part for it.  They have been sitting up North at my folks shop for almost 2 months witch sucked.  I could not send it out to get welded up until the seat, and handle bars showed up to make sure my stuff would work out.

SO here it is as of today.  Just all mocked up but I think with 4 degrees more of rake this thing will look sweet. Plus all in a semi gloss Black. With very little Chrome Oh yea.

Tires are 20 inch front is 2.20 wide and the rear is 2.25.  Old school P-Lyte tires.

I built it for around $150 in parts and that was at my cost. The hardest thing is finding the one of bike itself. I lucked out and our neibhor has had it sitting outside since they moved in. I went over and asked what was up with it and they gave it to me.
