WTH is wrong with this picture?

We should place the elderly in prisons.
They will get a shower a day, video surveillance in case of problems,
three meals a day, access to a library, computer, TV, gym,
doctors on-site, free medication if needed.
Put criminals in nursing homes.
They have cold meals, lights off at 7pm,
two showers a week, live in a smaller room and pay rent at $4,000 a month!!!
It's pretty sad that we treat prisoners better than the elderly....

kinda hits close to home,
my stepdad is in a home with alszhimers, cost my mom over $6000, a month...
She has spent their life savings,had to sell all their toys,
now they(Resthome) take his pension & she still has to pay like 1500 a month
All to get him help,  what a crying shame...

my wife worked at a home and the stories she has told me it makes me sick how they treat them the amount they pay give em a break they have paid enough threw their life
